Installation Information
Two bearings are required per gearbox
The differential bearings should be set with a preload of 1–2 thou (0.001"–0.002") when using this steel-caged design
 
Please note that some earlier original equipment bearings were marked "Thrust Side". These bearings were required to be installed with the marked side facing away from the gearbox and were typically set with a preload of 4 thou (0.004").
