Reduce engine noise while maintaining maximum under-bonnet clearance with this 4-Piece Felt Bonnet Sound Insulation Kit, designed specifically for round-nose Classic Mini bonnets.
 
The four pre-shaped felt sections are designed to fit neatly into the recessed areas between the bonnet strengthening ribs/stiffener supports, rather than covering the complete underside of the bonnet.
 
At approximately 10mm (1cm) thick, the felt provides useful sound insulation without the excessive thickness of the original heavy sound-deadening material fitted to some Minis during the 1990s.

The original-style very thick bonnet sound-deadening material used during the 1990s is no longer available or manufactured.
 
This segmented felt kit provides a practical alternative, fitting within the sections between the bonnet stiffeners while keeping overall insulation thickness to a minimum.
This is particularly useful on Classic Minis where under-bonnet clearance can be limited around air filters, carburettors and other engine components.

Important Fitment Information
This kit suits ONLY round-nose Classic Mini bonnets.
It is NOT suitable for Leyland Mini Clubman / square-nose bonnets.
