We specialize in tuning all Classic Mini and Moke carburetors & engines. 
We also offer Classic Mini carburetor re jetting service, as well as tuning your Classic Mini or Moke car. 


                 We can also replace needles and jets before tuning the engine. 
                         The SU carburetor is a variable jet type for fuel delivery, meaning                             that the needle moves every time you accelerate, over time the                                 carburetor jet will need adjusting to take up for the wear on both                             the needle and jet.

 

There will come a point when the adjustment of the jet is not capable of providing a correct air or ratio mixture and as the result the performance and the economy of the engine will be out of it's specification.

We are able to diagnose worn needle and jet problems on the SU type carburetors and can rectify the problem with replacement jets and needles and with tuning and balancing the correct carburetor for peak performance and economy for your Classic Mini or Moke.

With over five million Classic Mini cars have been produced worldwide, most of them which were built were before 1985 when front disc brakes were introduced in a Classic Mini car and were factory standard on every Classic Mini car.
 
First Classic Mini and Moke cars were all fitted with standard drum brakes all round, which were sufficient and adequate in a standard light traffic but were prone to fall out of adjustment, not very progressive unless recently overhauled, and not up to the quick responses needed to avoid accidents in modern high-density traffic.

                            More importantly, the drum brakes on a Classic Mini or Moke car                              are not capable of stopping safely enough if a Mini or a Moke                                  have been upgraded and fitted with a more powerful engine and                              if it is being driven more aggressively.  


However we can upgrade brakes from drum to disk brakes on your Classic Mini or Moke car to a modern standard so you can enjoy the safety and performance of your Classic car.
