As with virtually all reproduction fibreglass body components, professional preparation and trial fitting are essential before painting.
 
Depending on the individual vehicle, the arches may require:
Minor trimming
Sanding and edge finishing
Adjustment of mounting surfaces
Drilling of mounting holes
Filling or surface preparation
Final shaping to achieve the desired panel gaps
 
Classic Mini body shells can also vary considerably after decades of repairs, restoration and previous modifications.
 
For this reason, do not paint the arches before completing a full trial fit to the vehicle.
 
Important 13" Wheel Information
These Sportspack-style arches are commonly used with 13" wheels, including wide 13" x 7" applications.
 
However, fitting wide 13-inch wheels to a Classic Mini may require additional modifications depending on:
Wheel width and offset
Tyre size
Suspension height
Brake configuration
Steering geometry
Front bodywork clearance
 
Sportspack arches alone do not guarantee clearance for every 13" x 7" wheel and tyre combination.
 
Installation Recommendation

For the best result, trial fit and correctly position all four arches before completing final body preparation and painting.
