Introduced for competition engines where the increased rev limits or temperature can cause the leak, this fits all minis except automatic. This is copy of the original gaco seal and is identified by numbers 1042 and 55 70 10 with crank rotation arrow.
The factory changed the seal in 1992 to the type with the spring close to the back which has been known to slip off.
