Control box. Many charging system problems can be traced to a malfunctioning voltage regulator. And while the workshop manual gives a detailed procedure for checking and/or adjusting one, the only thing that has ever worked for me is to just replace it!
If you still have a dynamo/generator you've got to have a regulator that works. This is the 'later' version with blade terminals, the earlier one with screw terminals is no longer available.
