5/16" UNF Front Subframe Tower Bolt – Hydrolastic Models – Classic Mini
 
Correct specification 5/16" UNF bolt, measuring approximately 4 3/8" long, used on Classic Mini Hydrolastic front subframe towers.
 
There are two of these bolts fitted to the front subframe towers to secure the subframe to the bulkhead.
 
This bolt is also used to secure the lower radiator bracket to the gearbox alloy casting when fitted with the early pre-1974 two-piece radiator cowling setup.

Important Fitment Note:
When using these bolts on Hydrolastic front subframes, they must be shortened by approximately 5–10mm to prevent contact with the displacer units.
