levis pin for the hook part with a spring and spacer only. This fits all Minis and Clubmans as the bracket it attaches to is on all bonnets unless broken. The spring loaded catch is designed to keep the bonnet from blowing open while driving should the latch either fail or not close completely. The catch is simply pinned to the bracket that is part of the bonnet located on the right front corner.
