Genuine Mini Spares product, fits 3 and 4-synchro gearboxes except for rod change types .
This switch replaces the plug on the front of the remote-shift transmission case.
It is triggered internally by the shift linkage when reverse is selected.
This must be fitted with an insulating fibre washer and a small plug in the gearbox to activate the switch as the original washer is no longer available but it can still be used although the internal hole is slightly to large.
