This L/H fuel tank is for Classic Mini cars 7.5 gallon from 1974 up to the injection Mini cars.
This is a non genuine 7.5 gallon L/H fuel tank, which fits all Classic Mini saloon cars from 1974 until the introduction of injection Mini cars. Originally it was first fitted to a British Clubman 1275GT in 1974 with 12" wheels and to all Classic Mini saloon cars starting from 1980 onwards. 7.5 gallons or 34 litres in fuel capacity and the tank is retained by the single strap across the centre. The sender unit fixing is a twist and turn type. This is the only fuel tank available for pre-injection Classic Mini cars and works for all types. The petrol outlet pipes have always been 5/16" and if going down to 1/4" you will need to reducing the pipe size.
