A comprehensive Universal Cylinder Head Gasket Kit featuring a copper head gasket, designed for a wide range of Classic Mini and Moke A-Series engines.
 
This kit provides the essential gaskets and valve stem seals required for cylinder-head removal and refitting, together with a useful selection of SU HS2 and HS4 carburettor gaskets.
 
The traditional copper head gasket makes this an excellent choice for Classic Mini engine repairs, rebuilds and restorations where this type of gasket is preferred.

Copper Head Gasket Installation
Correct orientation of the copper head gasket is important.
The larger side of the firing rings must face the cylinder head — with the copper side facing UP toward the head.
 
Always confirm correct gasket orientation before tightening the cylinder head.
 
Universal A-Series Application
This kit has been assembled to cover numerous early and later small-bore A-Series engine configurations, making it particularly useful for workshops, restorers and enthusiasts.
Because the kit covers multiple applications, not every gasket or valve stem seal supplied will necessarily be used on every engine.
 
Carburettor Compatibility

HS2 air cleaner-to-carburettor connections
HS4 air cleaner-to-carburettor connection
 
Please Note: HIF44 carburettor gaskets are NOT included.
 
Important Fitment Information
Classic Minis and Mokes are frequently fitted with replacement engines, cylinder heads, manifolds and carburettors that may differ from their original factory specification.
We recommend identifying the actual engine, cylinder head and carburettor fitted to the vehicle before ordering.
 
Installation Notes
When replacing a cylinder head gasket, both the cylinder head and block mating surfaces should be properly cleaned and inspected.
 
The cylinder head should be checked for flatness, damage and corrosion, and all fasteners should be tightened using the appropriate A-Series tightening sequence and torque specifications.
 
After installation, all cooling, oil and fuel connections should be checked before returning the vehicle to service.
