Restore the dashboard area of your Classic Mini with this Upper Dash Rail Metal Panel, designed as a replacement for damaged, rusted or previously modified original panels.
 
The panel is manufactured with the mounting holes used for the later-model facia/crash pad, allowing it to be used on applicable later Classic Mini models.
 
It can also be used when restoring earlier Minis; however, the additional mounting holes will need to be blanked or filled where a completely original early-model appearance is required.

Important Fitment Information
For later Classic Mini models fitted with a facia/crash pad, the panel incorporates the required mounting holes.
 
For earlier models originally manufactured without the facia pad, these later mounting holes were not present. Therefore, they will need to be professionally blanked or filled before painting if period-correct originality is required.
 
Installation Notes
Trial fitting and alignment are recommended before final welding or finishing.
For early-model restorations, any unwanted holes should be correctly filled and finished during the body preparation stage to achieve an original-style appearance.
 
Professional installation by an experienced Classic Mini panel beater or restoration specialist is recommended.
